We operate capecorallocaldeals.com, a free local business directory, and a community mailer sent to homes in Cape Coral, Florida. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you visit our website, list a business, reserve a mailer spot, or sign up for deals.

1. Information We Collect

Business owners and advertisers

• Business name, your name, job title, email address, phone number, business address, website, and social media links.
• Business category, neighborhood or service area, offers and coupons, descriptions, logos, photos, and other content you submit for your listing or mailer spot.
• Community mailer reservation and payment details. Payment card information is processed by third-party payment processors; we do not store full card numbers.
• Messages you send us and records of our communications with you.

Homeowners and residents who sign up for deals

• Your name (if provided), email address, neighborhood or ZIP code, and the deal categories you are interested in.
• Records of the emails we send you and whether you opened or clicked them.

Everyone who visits the website

• IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring page, and similar technical data collected through cookies, analytics, and form tools.
• If you scan the QR code on our community mailer, we may record that the scan happened and which page you visited.

Mailer recipients

Our community mailer is mailed using the U.S. Postal Service Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) program, which delivers to all addresses on a mail route without requiring names. We do not receive a list of recipient names or addresses from the Postal Service.

3. Public Information

Business listing information (business name, category, offers, contact details, website, logo, and photos) is intended to be public. It will appear in our online directory and, if you purchase a mailer spot, on the printed mailer. Do not submit anything you do not want published. Your personal email address and phone number are not published unless you provide them as your business contact details.

4. Email, Phone, and Text Communications

• Business owners: By submitting a business form, you agree that we may contact you about your listing and mailer spots by email, phone, and text. We may text you from a personal or business phone only about your listing and mailer spots, and especially in reply to messages you send us. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to a text, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or contacting us.
• Homeowners: By signing up, you agree to receive deal emails from Cape Coral Local Deals. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. We do not send automated marketing text messages to homeowners.
• Message and data rates may apply to texts.
• We do not use purchased lists or contact people who have asked us to stop.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service providers that help us run the service, such as website hosting, CRM and email platforms, forms, payment processing, analytics, design, printing, and mail services.
• Professional advisors such as attorneys, accountants, and insurers.
• Government authorities, courts, or other parties when required by law or needed to protect rights, safety, or property.

We do not give homeowner email addresses to advertisers or other businesses.
